The 2022 California Primary Election is well underway with voters able to visit vote centers to cast their ballots. NBC 7’s Nicole Gomez shares what you’ll want to know before you go.

Dozens of vote centers will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day so voters could cast their ballots in San Diego County.

Thirty-nine vote centers will open starting Saturday, May 28. The centers are located around the county and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including Memorial Day

San Diego County voters should’ve already gotten their mail-in ballots. Now all they have to do is fill them out, sign them and mail them back or drop them off.

NBC 7 heard from incumbent Alex Padilla and attorney Mark Meuser, the Democratic and Republican party-backed candidates for California’s open U.S. Senate seat.

The California primary elections are just around the corner, with nearly two dozen candidates eying Alex Padilla’s seat in the senate. NBC 7’s Omari Fleming has more.

And for the first time, “super polling locations” opened today so voters can cast their vote ahead of election day. NBC 7’s Bridget Naso is live in Tierrasanta with more.
