Even though the 2018 San Diego Music Awards are over, the winners and nominees are still reaping the rewards, showcasing their talents at the 34th annual Artwalk in Little Italy.

Kick off the weekend with a show: L.A. Witch play the Casbah, X perform at the Observatory, and Dead Feather Moon power through Soda Bar.

Popping off in San Diego tonight: Neil Diamond himself at Valley View Casino Center, James Vincent McMorrow at the Belly Up, and Diana Krall at Humphreys.

Thursday’s live-music options included Cheetah Chrome and his Deadboys at the Casbah, Wish & the Well at the Belly Up, and Sasha Marie at the Merrow.

Get the long weekend started with a show: Foster the People headline the Observatory, Dream Joints host a huge record release at the Casbah, and Los Lonely Boys crash the Belly Up.

Saturday is teeming with activity — from Adams Avenue Unplugged to ArtWalk to Encinitas Street Fair. But the real treat is the Midnight Pine headlining Demasiado’s reunion show at Casbah.

Tuesday’s got some huge names in town (Billy Bob Thornton, anyone?) — but one of our local faves, Gayle Skidmore, heads into the Casbah for a huge homecoming show.

We’ve got so much good music to catch tonight: Le Chateau head up the Casbah, Teenage Fanclub fan out at the Belly Up, and Portugal. The Man headline the Observatory North Park.
