Preview: 2015 San Diego Restaurant Week

San Diego Restaurant Week runs from Sept. 20 through Sept. 27, 2015. More than 190 restaurants will participate in the foodie feast, spanning 12 regions across the San Diego food scene.

Priced at $40 per person, Bleu Bohème’s three-course SDRW dinner includes your choice of hors d’oeuvres’ such as gnocchi à la parisienne made with parmesan dumplings, Brussels sprouts, smoked duck bacon and white wine sauce or tartare de saumon fumé with rum smoked salmon, goat cheese crêpe, lemon zest, capers and caviar crème fraiche.

The upscale, oceanfront Sea180 Coast Tavern in Imperial Beach will offer two options for SDRW: a $15 lunch menu and $30 dinner menu. The lunch selections on the prix fixe menu at this Baja-Mediterranean restaurant include the Huli-Huli Chicken with pineapple teriyaki sauce followed by exotic confections like the Coconut Tres Leches Cake. The three-course dinner menu features appetizers such as the Fire Roasted Brussels Sprouts, mouth-watering main entrees like the Coronado Brewing Company IPA Braised Short Ribs and some sweet endings that include the Warm Chocolate Cocoa Nib Cake.

The dessert course includes these choices: Warm Pumpkin Bread Pudding topped with cinnamon whipped cream or the Flourless Chocolate Cake with ginger-orange coulis.
