At the age of 16, she began working as a model and in 2013, she starred in a TV commercial for "The X Factor." In 2015, Lipa signed a deal with Warner Music Group and released her first single soon thereafter.
The following year, The Fader magazine commissioned a documentary about Lipa titled "See in Blue."

In 2017, Lipa won the EBBA Public Choice Award and released her self-titled debut album on June 2.

In April, her collaboration with Calvin Harris, "One Kiss," hit No. 1 on the U.K. Singles chart.
Lipa has claimed that her next album, due to be released in 2019, will be heavily influenced by Prince and OutKast. She's also rumoured to soon be releasing collaborations with Mark Ronson and Diplo's new super-duo Silk City.
