Cisterra Development is proposing a mixed-use building and Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown East Village community. The 39-story site at Seventh Avenue and Market Street would include residential units, commercial offices, retail space, a ground-floor restaurant, a gourmet grocer, public open space, public restrooms, a 670-space subterranean parking garage and the 160-room hotel. Civic San Diego has recommended the City of San Diego approve the project and enter into negotiations with the developer.
