The two musicians met in the mid-1990s at College Stanislas in Montreal. Speaking on their different ethnic backgrounds, the duo jokingly describe themselves as "the only successful Arab/Jewish partnership since the dawn of human culture."

Chromeo released their debut album, "She's in Control," in 2004 and it spawned the worldwide club hit "Needy Girl."

After a three-year break, they released a second album, "Fancy Footwork," in 2007. In 2010, they dropped "Business Casual" and its huge leadoff single "Night by Night." As of 2018, its video had garnered more than 4.1 million views on YouTube.

In 2014, they released their massively successful "White Women" album and were one of the main attractions at that year's Coachella festival.

Now they're back at it with another Coachella under their belts (they're playing this year's fest) and promise another album entitled "Head Over Heels" in 2018.
