Suspected Burglar Arrested in Little Italy

A man was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of burglary in Little Italy.

The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. on the 1900-block of Columbia Street.

Police said the suspect entered the woman's home through an unlocked door, then opened her bedroom window and shined a flashlight in her face.

The man then went to her living room and sat on her couch, which prompted the woman to call 911.

The suspect, Ignacio Guerrero, was arrested without incident and charged with burglary and parole violation.

Police are investigating if the suspect was actually inside the home and there's no indication anything was stolen.The man could face charges of burglary or trespassing.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
