1,000+ Customers Without Power in Santee

The power outage happened just before 8 p.m.

Power Restored in Santee

A power outage in the Santee area left more than 1,000 customers without power Thursday night, San Diego Gas & Electric officials confirmed.

The power went out around 7:50 p.m., affecting customers in areas including Santee, Carlton HIlls, Lake Murray, Sycamore Canyon and Mission Gorge.

SDG&E said the estimated time of restoration would be approximately 10:20 p.m.

By 10:15 p.m., power to the affected parts of Santee had been restored.

There is no word on the cause of the power outage just yet. SDG&E said repairs are being made.
