This is the story you're looking for.

On Monday, February 15, 2016, principal photography for Star Wars: Episode VIII began at Pinewood Studios in London. To mark the occasion a production trailer was released that will give any fan of The Force goosebumps:

Footage shows towering flames in San Francisco as crews battle a fire caused by a gas explosion.

A new movie means new characters, and the list of actors joining the Star Wars universe is impressive. It includes Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.

While she's relatively new to the big screen folks in Southern California will recognize Tran. She' a San Diego native who graduated from UCLA. From there she's trained with prestigious comedy groups Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade.

Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson, picks up where Star Wars: The Force Awakens left off and welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.

The film is scheduled to be released on December 15, 2017. I suggest getting in line now.
