San Diego Attempts World’s Largest Fish Taco

U.S. Foods in San Diego attempted to break the record for World's Largest Fish Taco on Wednesday, May 23.

Brigantine Family of Restaurants created the taco, and provided all the ingredients for its creation. The taco took about an hour to make as all the fish was pre-cooked.

The taco's length was more than 254 ft. long.

U.S. Foods has submitted the taco's length to Guinness World Records. They also worked with the Environmental Protection Agency to make sure the taco would not be consumed by local wildlife.

The taco was covered with a plastic wrap so that seagulls would not descend on the San Diego pier en masse.
