Lucky convention attendees also saw them up close and personal at a special signing hosted at the Nuclear Blast booth. See photos of it in our Comic-Con photo gallery here:

Fun fact: Their original name was Legacy but they were forced to change their name to Testament because the "Legacy" name was already trademarked by a jazz band.

The band's current lineup consists of guitarist Eric Peterson, vocalist Chuck Billy, lead guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio and drummer Gene Hoglan.

Since its inception, Testament has had numerous lineup changes, leaving Peterson as the only constant member. Billy (pictured) replaced original singer Steve "Zetro" Souza (who left the band to join Exodus as the replacement for Paul Baloff) in 1986, prior to the recording of their first studio album and has been a member of the band since.

Peterson (pictured) and Billy are the only members to appear on all of Testament's studio albums.

Their latest album, 2016's "Brotherhood of the Snake," entered the top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart as well.

Rumour has it that they're hard at work on their 12th studio album and have tentatively scheduled its release for early- to mid-2019.
It was great to have 'em back in town for a proper headlining show after seeing them in May at Valley View Casino Center!

That show was the kickoff of Slayer's farewell tour with Anthrax, Lamb of God, and Behemoth and it was simply insane.
