The victim says she and the suspect were acquainted, but police are unsure for how long

A San Diego woman was shot in the hand and leg in City Heights early Tuesday.

The officer says they still aren't sure if she was shot once or twice but still the motive is unknown.

A man and woman were fighting in front of an apartment in the 4000-block of 38th Street around midnight Tuesday.

The victim says she and the suspect were acquainted, but police are unsure for how long.

She says they got into a fight, and then he shot her.

The suspect is described at 5’6” and 200 lbs, bald with a tattoo on his head.

Officials said the man took off riding his bike through a nearby alley.
