You'll be hard pressed to find something that's "not" on today's "for sale" list at the giant auction downtown, benefiting Father Joe's Villages.
Oh sure, there are the usual items: jewelry, cars, trucks and motor homes, a few boats, plenty of chairs, tables and bicycles; all the things you'd expect to find at a big community auction. . . but a stuffed pig, antelope or water buffalo? And we're not talkling about the small stuffed animals kids snuggle up with at night, no, these are the real deal, full-sized animals, stuffed by a professional taxidermist.
You'll get your chance to drive something new home this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. You can preview all the items that will be auctioned off beginning at 10:00 this morning. Where? . . 3350 E street. It's going to be crowded so go early and take your patience along with your check book, credit card and any spare change you might have lying around the house.
