Earl McNeil Death Investigation

The following are images shared by the San Diego District Attorney's Office on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 regarding the death of a man who was arrested by National City Police in May. Earl McNeil was transported by National City Police Department officers to the Central Jail where it was determined he needed medical attention. Once in the custody of medical personnel, McNeil's heart stopped, according to the DA's office. The investigation into what led to McNeil's death found law enforcement officers were not criminally liable, prosecutors said.
