The musical follows Bobby, who puts down his guitar and takes a break from music, to pursue a normal 9 to 5 job.
The musical has been in the works for more than eight years, and it's making its debut in San Diego.
Scenic Designer Derek McLane has designed over 350 productions on Broadway, Off Broadway, internationally, regionally, and on television. Most recently, he created the intricate set design for the world premiere of "Moulin Rouge." He's also done "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical," "Hairspray Live!" and "Anything Goes," among others.
Costume Designer Paloma Young has designed for many San Diego, Broadway and international productions. Most recently, she won the Tony Award for her work on " Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812."
