Fifteen artists in a North County art gallery set to work earlier this week on a mural that will be cut into pieces and sold "by the inch." Artists Beth Taft, Jill Jones and Fernanda Natale-Reynolds work on their own section of a 30-foot x 50-inch mural as part of a group art project at the Brandon Gallery in Fallbrook. The mural will be cut into hundreds of pieces and sold for $1 per square inch as a fundraiser. Artist Diane Adams works on her section of the mural. One customer has already requested a 3-inch-by-12-inch piece of the mural, which would cost $36 after it's sliced out and framed.
