Local ‘The Voice' Fans Cheer on Poway's Jackie Foster at Local Watch Party

Kaminski’s BBQ in Poway hosted the watch party

San Diego’s very own Jackie Foster continued her journey on NBC’s “The Voice” Monday night with nothing but support back home.

Fans from all over the county gathered at a watch party hosted by Kaminski’s BBQ and Sports Lounge in Poway and cheered her on as she sang Britney's Spears' hit "Toxic."

It's a jam that her and her band, the "Self Portraits" love to play. While she sang, videos of her and her band were blown up on screens surrounding the venue.

Foster said it was like having a little piece of home with her as she performed.

The watch party was recorded by photographers from “The Voice” and footage from the event may air during next Monday’s “Fan Week” episode, depending on how Foster performed. Results will be announced on Tuesday night's show.

Watch party viewers made special t-shirts for the party with a #TeamJackieFoster hashtag.

Foster, 22, graduated from Poway High School and accepted a full-ride scholarship to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

"I love music. I always wanted to do it. But you grow up with these big dreams and you always hope that you will accomplish them but you never know if they will happen," Foster told NBC 7 during a visit in March.

Kaminski’s and friends are urging people to vote for Foster to show support for the Poway and greater San Diego community.
