Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a fire inside a North Park restaurant Thursday.
Around 12:30 a.m. San Diego Police responded to 4095 30th Street, the location of The Ritual Tavern, Kitchen and Garden.
Apparently an alarm sounded when someone broke into the back door of the business, officers said.
The damaged door and shattered glass were visible behind the restaurant.
When officers arrived there were several small fires burning inside the building.
"The suspect or suspects used accelerant, it appears, to start several small fires inside," said Lt. Paul Rorrison.
Fire crews extinguished the fire before there was any major damage.
