The fast-food chain is doing away with its 99-cent value menu.
Instead of a variety of menu items priced at just under a dollar, Wendy's is offering options called "Right Price Right Size."
Those items range in price from $0.99 to $1.99.
The restaurant chain established its Value Menu in 1989 and, according to a company news release, was the first of its competitors to offer a number of meals at the $0.99 price.
Burger King and McDonald's have already inched their prices past the $1 price point making Wendy's the last of the big fast-food chains to hold on to the $1 pricing model.
The chain also announced Wednesday it will be offering a $1.99 kids meal after 4 p.m.
Three months ago, the Dublin, Ohio-based fast food company updated its logo in a move intended to signal its ongoing transformation into a higher-end hamburger chain.
The logo will be part of the new restaurant design that Wendy's is looking to expand to its roughly 6,000 locations in North America.
