San Diego now has its own “official” beer.
The San Diego Tourism Authority and Bay City Brewing Company launched the craft beer “72 and Hoppy” Tuesday.
The session IPA is available at local restaurants and attractions.
A recent study by Cushman & Wakefield found San Diego markets more craft beer breweries than any other city in the country.
Researchers found the San Diego area had 125 licensed brewing sites in operation, at the end of 2016.
San Diego also ranked fifth in the U.S. for the number of breweries being planned.
