A high wind warning has been issued for parts of SoCal, including San Diego County, from Tuesday at 7 p.m. to Wednesday at 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The disturbance that produced showers over the weekend in San Diego County was predicted to move east on Monday, setting up for some Santa Ana winds, the National Weather Service said.

“This is the critical time of year for us, going into September, October, November, December,” said Cal Fire Captain Thomas Shoots. “[We have a] higher than average potential for a large devastating wildfire.”
