Oceanside police confirm a toddler was struck by a vehicle Friday morning and was airlifted to Rady Children's Hospital.
A police lieutenant confirmed the incident that happened just before 8 a.m. on Serene Road.
The vehicle hit a 2-year-old girl in what appears to be an accident, police said.
No word on her injuries.
