A late-night arrest has landed a man behind bars, accused of raping a 16-year-old East County girl.
El Cajon police arrested Willie Williams Monday night after responding to a report of a stolen car about a mile from the attack.
The teen was snatched at gunpoint Monday morning and taken to an alley in the 1100 block of the East Main Street in El Cajon, where she was sexually assaulted.
Williams matched the description of the suspect given at the crime scene, according to police. Investigators said the victim, using a photo lineup, identified Williams as her attacker.
Police booked Williams into the county jail. He faces several charges including kidnapping, and sexual assault.
