A few San Diego neighborhoods are going acoustic this weekend for the 2014 Adams Avenue Unplugged.
The free event features 150 live musical performances at 21 restaurants, bars, coffee shops and stores along University Heights, Normal Heights and parts of Kensington.
Music will also fill the air from four community stages placed along the two-mile route.
But it’s not just for music lovers. The event pairs performances with Adams Avenue dining and drinking for those of a foodie persuasion. People 21 years old and over can get their hands on $5 craft cocktails and wine or $3 beer and sake specials.
The tunes start at noon on Saturday and run until 10 p.m. Sunday’s schedule is from noon to 8 p.m.
And if you don’t bring your walking shoes, no worries. A free trolley service will take you from point A to B.
Featured acts include Jonny Fritz and Peter Case on Saturday, and Chris Hillman/Herb Pedersen and Willie Watson on Sunday.
