A driver slammed their car into an office building in La Mesa Wednesday night, according to police.
Police said the single vehicle collision happened around 9:30 p.m. at a strip mall on the 7400 block of El Cajon Boulevard.
No major injuries were reported, although witnesses said a man was walking past the building when the car came straight at him.
Witnesses said the man managed to dodge the vehicle, only scraping his foot in the process.
Police said the driver of the car was not injured. The structure sustained minor damage but nobody was inside the building during the crash, authorities said.
Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs played a factor in the accident. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
