A driver with a possible health condition crashed his car into a building in Pacific Beach Saturday afternoon, according to police.
The collision happened just before 3 p.m. at Balboa Avenue and Garnet Avenue.
Police said the driver, believed to have an existing health condition, stopped his car in the middle of traffic near Grand Avenue. He then accelerated and crashed his BMW into a structure.
Police said the driver may have suffered a seizure, causing him to crash.
He sustained minor injuries, mostly caused by the airbag in his car.
The building he rammed into was empty and nobody else was injured, police said.
