Multiple auto thefts in the county have San Diego County Regional Auto Theft Task Force officials urging car dealerships to watch their daily inventory.
Officials say dealerships need to check their inventory more than once a month, according to our media partner North County Times.
At Jack Powell Escondido, two vehicles were reported stolen after workers discovered nine car keys were missing.
Nearly 20 vehicles were stolen from dealerships this year.
