A two-year old boy was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after possibly falling into a pool, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD) confirmed.
The incident happened around 1:51 p.m. on the 7900 block of Knollwood Rd. near Meadowbrook Drive in Skyline.
SDFD says the toddler may have nearly drowned after falling into a pool.
The mother performed mouth to mouth on him.
He was taken to Paradise Valley Hospital.
According to officials, the toddler entered the backyard where the pool is located through a back door.
He is in a critical condition.
No other information was immediately available.
