The Chargers' head coach hired Rob Chudzinski as assistant head coach Wednesday. Chudzinski will also be in charge of the tight ends, a position he held in 2005 - 2006.

Chudzinski spent the last two years in Cleveland in the Browns' offensive coordinator. He'll likely assist Turner during games.
Norv has called the offensive plays in each of his two seasons as head coach, occasionally coming under fire for handling his expanded responsibilities well.
