Beer, Beach and Music

What do you get when you have twenty beers on tap, live music from Get Back Loretta and Tapes 'n Tapes and lots of sand?

You get one of the best events in San Diego, the Beach to Brewery Beer and Music Fest.

San Diego hosts plenty of outdoor fests like this one, but all you can quench your thirst with is some cheap swill (here's looking at you Coors Light). On the other hand, this concert is hosted by none-other-than San Diego beer-Kaiser Karl Strauss. That means concert-goers get to enjoy a brew from a variety of flavors from Lagers to Stouts.

The tickets are only $20 online and $25 at the door. It's well worth it -- with each ticket purchase, you not only get the concert but you get five tasters of beer too! This event benefits the Surfrider Foundation, a group that aims to keep San Diego beaches clean and pollution-free.

Take your bike to the event or use the free shuttle from the PB Library and Dusty Rhodes park in Ocean Beach starting at 1:45 p.m. to the show! Don't miss this event on May 9th from 2:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Karl Strauss' main brewery in Pacific Beach at 5985 Santa Fe Street. Click here for the event website.
