Rain on the Way?

What's certain is that the high temperatures that have warmed the area for the last 11 days are leaving -- but is rain headed to the region?

By Wednesday, temperatures will cool off by about five degrees on the coast, down to the mid-60s, and about 10 degrees inland, down into the low 60s.

The chance for rain is looking good for overnight Wednesday into Thursday. The accumulated amounts are not expected to be impressive, but after two dry weeks and only 0.03 inches for the month of January, San Diego will take what it can get. This time of year can set the tone for the summer/fall fire season, so every drop counts.

In fact, Weather.com is forecasting rain or the chance of rain for through next Tuesday, so keep your umbrella handy.
