A man's body was found near Osler Street in Tecolote Canyon on Wednesday morning.
The victim had trauma wounds consistent with an assault, according to San Diego police. Homicide detectives are investigating the scene and the body.
A pedestrian saw the body just after 8 a.m. this morning and called police.
The victim is described as in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing dark clothes and he has not yet been identified.
