Locally based natural-foods grocer Jimbo’s… Naturally has scheduled a hiring fair at Westfield Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego, where its fifth store location will open in September.

The fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 17 on the mall’s first level, next-door to Victoria’s Secret. The new store will employ approximately 100 people, but it will be accepting applications for all of its locations at the job fair, the company said.
Jimbo’s was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Carmel Valley. Officials said the new 28,000-square-foot store, occupying a former Mervyn’s space, will be the company’s largest and will include specialized elevators to accommodate grocery carts.
