The 23-year-old driver took the curve too fast, the CHP said. Hey, it's a Ferrari ... what do you expect?
Talk about a bad day at work.
CHP Officer Elizabeth Addy says the woman, from Morgan Hill, escaped the crash Saturday without injury. But her boss was irate.
"She's going to be paying that back for quite a long time," Addy said.
The unidentified woman apparently lost control after taking a curve at too high a speed, hit an embankment and flipped.
The driver said she wasn't speeding but the cause of the crash is still being investigated," Addy said. "People tend to drive pretty fast along Bear Creek."
Addy says the woman was driving the car with the owner's consent.
The CHP says alcohol was not a factor.
