Singer Miley Cyrus attends the Fashion Group International's 30th annual "Night Of Stars" awards gala at Cipriani's Wall Street on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, in New York. The singer's home was burglarized on Friday, Nov. 22, the day before she turned 21.
Miley Cyrus' birthday weekend did not get off to a good start.
The pop star's house was burglarized on Friday, Nov. 22, the day before she turned 21.
LAPD confirms to E! News that a victim, whom they could not confirm was Cyrus, discovered property was missing from the home at around 4:30p.m.
The incident occurred sometime in the afternoon and nobody was injured. There were no signs of forced entry.
The investigation is ongoing.
Miley is busy gearing up for the 2013 American Music Awards and is spending her actual bday rehearsing for the annual awards show. The AMAs will be broadcast on Sunday, Nov. 24.
So what can we expect from her performance?
Sources familiar with Miley's plans exclusively tell E! News that the singer will be singing her hit "Wrecking Ball"--and that she does plan on delivering a performance that's tamer than the one she gave at the MTV Video Music Awards.
There will be no nudity, no wrecking ball and no licking of sledgehammers, all of which is prominently featured in the now much-parodied video for the Bangerz tune.
Once the AMAs are complete, Miley will host a private bash at the theater of Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, a hot spot that the young singer often frequents.
