Sounds Like San Diego: February 17

New Politics headline the House of Blues to cap off a great three-day weekend

Hopefully you're enjoying a day off to top off the weekend. At Valley View Vasino Center, you can enjoy the 33rd annual Tribute to Reggae Legends all afternoon. By night, Casbah hosts a sold-out show with Brody Dalle, Tropicle Popsicle rock out the Soda Bar, and Jon McLaughlin stirs things up at the Griffin. The doozy show of the night is New Politics at House of Blues. The Danish alt-rock band has catchy songs, and their live show is like no other, complete with some good old pop-and-locking, breaking, and usually a couple backflips thrown in. Monday is looking solid all the way around.
