Do You Know the Lyrics?

Sing along with great movie musicals. Yes, we do mean in public

If you're the kind of person who loves to sing along to your favorite musicals, bring the kids and plan to join your fellow enthusiasts at the Musical Sing-Along Movie Series this winter, presented by the Birch North Park Theatre and Hawthorn's Restaurant.

This Sunday join Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney as they sing the theme song in "White Christmas." If that's a little too old school, how about trying a little "Hand Jive" or "Beauty School Dropout" in "Grease" on Friday December 26 and Sunday Dec. 28.

More musicals are planned for the new year. You can see "The Wizard of Oz" on Jan. 2 and 4 and "The Sound of Music" on Jan. 9 and 11. The Friday movies start at 7:30 p.m.  The Sunday matinees start at 2:30 p.m. Tickets cost $9 for most, $7 students/seniors.

If you keep your ticket stub, you can enjoy a half-price drink at Hawthorn's before or after the show.
