It's been a lazy, hazy week of music, so Wednesday night we can step it up a notch. The Birch Aquarium hosts the Green Flash Concert Series, and if you haven't been before, Wednesday is a great chance to check it out. Besides the beautiful and sweeping views of the Pacific, the concert sits the stage on top of a tide pool feature and makes for an interesting staging of the shows. With Bad Suns on the rise along with opener Zella Day, this is a great choice for the evening. Of course, if your budget is tight and you just want to rock out, head to the Casbah for Avalon Tattoo's 26th anniversary. Besides a killer lineup of bands, there's usually some tasty food and beautiful eye candy. Around town, Lincoln Durham hits the Soda Bar, while Inspired & the Sleep lead a local lineup at Belly Up, and Chinese Rocks play the Johnny Thunders birthday party at Bar Pink.
