Broken Bells Kick off Humphrey's Concert Season

Our own Chris Cantore gushed about Broken Bells when he saw them at the South By Southwest music conference in Austin, Texas, earlier this year. The project is a collaboration between James Mercer of the Shins and Brian Burton, a k a Danger Mouse, and they've chosen San Diego as the kickoff to their tour, which also marks the start of the 2010 concert season at Humphrey's Concerts By the Bay. The band has come out with its self-titled first release, which is being praised by critics and fans alike. At press time, a limited number of tickets were still available to the show.
