Her San Diego show came just two weeks after the release of her brand-new studio album, "Charli," which dropped on Sept. 13. To say it's a blockbuster album would be an understatement.

"Charli" has spawned huge hit singles like "1999," a collaboration with Troy Sivan (which became Charli's 10th Top 40 single), and "Blame It on Your Love" -- featuring chart-topping singer/rapper Lizzo.

A little history on Charli: Born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, she hails from the UK and grew up in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. By the time she was 14 years old, she was writing her own songs. In early 2008, she began posting those songs and other demos on her Myspace page. Fun fact: Her stage name came from her MSN Messenger display name when she was younger.

In 2013, she achieved massive success with her Icona Pop collaboration, "I Love It," which reached the top 10 in both the U.S. and Europe. After releasing her debut studio album "True Romance" in 2013, she made a guest appearance on "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea in 2014, which was nominated for two Grammy Awards. Later that year, she earned her third top 10 single with "Boom Clap" and released her second album "Sucker."
