San Diego Chargers Nick Hardwick, who recently signed an endorsement deal for flushable wipes, had fun with the topic when he met with the media Wednesday.
โNo hesitation at all,โ the professional center told NBC 7 when asked how long he considered agreeing to promote โOne Wipe Charlies.โ
โThis is a great idea. Brillant by them to come to a center.โ
Hardwick was approached by Dollar Shave Club along with three other NFL centers to be featured in their ad for what some may call โbutt wipes.โ
He said quarterback Philip Rivers was also excited to hear of his new personal hygiene.
The conversation quickly turned to bathroom etiquette with Hardwick sharing a lesson taught to him at a very young age.
โIโm a folder myself,โ he said. โMy dad taught me that at an early age. He said โQuit balling it up, youโre wasting our toilet paper.โโ

On a serious note, Hardwick said the company has agreed to add a charity component to the endorsement deal.
โTheyโre donating to the charity โ Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation โ theyโre donating $10 for every clean snap I give them,โ Hardwick said.
The organization supports the surviving family members of fallen Marine Corps or federal law enforcement forces. Theyโre donating $1 for every #cleansnap he gets on Twitter.
