Here’s a preview of what is going on in San Diego sports for the week of July 23rd-29th.
PADRES: The Friars start the week on the road with a three-game series in New York against the Mets. After an off day Thursday they’re back home Friday-Sunday as the Arizona Diamondbacks come to Petco Park. Friday is Marvel Super Hero Day Theme Game, Saturday has a Trevor Hoffman #51 Retirement Commemorative Bobblehead giveaway, and Sunday is Kids Day where kids under 14 get a backpack.
SOCCER: The International Champions Cup comes to San Diego Wednesday. The Tottenham Hotspurs of the English Premier League play AS Roma of Serie A in Italy 7 p.m. at SDCCU Stadium.
