Padres Snap Dodgers' Winning Streak

Padres got five in the 4th inning on their way to a 10-5 win at Los Angeles -- snapping, squashing, stomping the Dodgers nine-game winning streak.

Will Venable had a big night in the lead off spot.

Triple in the first, a double his second time up and an RBI single to get the fun started in the 4th inning.

Venable finished with four hits and was just a homerun shy of the cycle.

Adrian Gonzalez drove in the next three runs on one swing. His ninth homerun of the season. A-Gone was huge. He finished with a career best six RBI's.

Two pitches later, Chase Headley made it 8-3. With his third homerun of the season.

Two on in the bottom of the fifth for pinch hitter Manny Ramirez. John Garland -- got him. Garland's final batter. (117 pitches) He's now 5-2.

Padres, with 10 runs on 14 hits, get their road trip off to a good start.
