An arduous, weeks-long trek north for asylum-seekers from Honduras culminated Sunday into a tense confrontation between migrants and border patrol agents from the U.S. and Mexico. U.S. authorities fired tear gas after some migrants, part of a peaceful march to speed up the asylum process that left asylum-seekers stuck in Tijuana, tried to breach the border.
