Rumors are flying that there will soon be wedding bells for reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, and a San Diego Chargers star.
After a night out on the town, a misspelled Twitter post attributed to Bolts linebacker Shaun Phillips read, βMe and my fabulous yet gorgeous yet magnificent yet undeniably beautiful soon to be finance Khloe Kardashian are have a wonderful night out.β
The Twitter post has since been taken down, but that has not stopped fans in both camps from talking about it.
In response to the Internet buzz, Kardashian Tweeted that she wanted to set the record straight, providing a link to her Web site, on which she denied any romantic involvement with Phillips.
βThe thought of DATING him is so weird LOL,β she posted.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star claims that the whole thing was a misunderstanding that was blown out of proportion by Twitter.
βIt's so funny because it's totally our fault that this all started because we were Twittering about our date night,β Kardashian wrote. βBut of course it got twisted into an entirely different story.β
Despite the speculation, Kardarshian insists her relationship with Phillips will not change -- on the Internet or otherwise -- simply because of the media.
βJust know that SP is my best friend and don't always believe everything you hear!β she wrote.
Clearly. Phillips is eager to escape the media buzz that began in Los Angeles, although he has not explicitly denied the story.
βI donβt think I have ever been more excited to head back to SD,β the linebacker Tweeted recently.
Khloe is not the only Kardashian linked with an NFL star with San Diego ties. Her sister Kim reportedly split up recently with boyfriend of more than two years, Reggie Bush, although there were rumors that the two were engaged in June. The Helix High alum apparently got upset when he saw text messages on Kimβs phone from Kanye West, which mentioned a night the hip-hop giant and the reality star hung out, among other things.
