A crash that killed a motorcyclist and involved two cars in Potrero started a small brush fire Saturday afternoon, California Highway Patrol (CHP) said.
After the crash a vehicle caught on fire around 3:20 p.m.
A Sig Alert was issued on State Route (SR) 94 west of SR-188 around 3:35 p.m.
All lanes were closed in both directions, but have since reopened.
The fire is under control and has burned less than half an acre.
