Police Searching for Sexual Assault Suspect in North Park

SDPD says he first began talking to the victim and then lured her into a back alley.

Authorities are asking for your help to identify a suspect of a sexual assault that occurred in North Park on Friday.

San Diego Police Department (SDPD) released a sketch of the suspect on Thursday.

They said he first began talking to the victim and then lured her into a back alley of the 2900 block of El Cajon Boulevard near Kansas Street.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police say the suspect threatened the victim with a knife and attempted to sexually assault her.

He took off eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard in a white Ford extended cab truck after she was able to escape.

He is described to be between 30 to 35 years old, with a muscular build, wearing a black T-shirt with β€œLimited Edition” written in white letters on the front, baggy black shorts and a black baseball hat.
