A report of a hot prowl burglary in the Serra Mesa neighborhood of San Diego was a false alarm, police confirmed.
Officers surrounded a home around 3:30 p.m. on the 3400 block of Angwin Drive near Marathon Drive and Ruffin Road after the victim called and said the suspects were inside their home.
According to San Diego police, the victim was being evaluated for mental health issues.
