Former First Lady, Michelle Obama, spoke about balancing work with her family and her passion for fitness at a health and wellness expo in San Diego Wednesday.
Obama was the keynote speaker for the MindBody Bold Conference at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront near the waterfront.
The former first lady walked onto the stage Wednesday to cheers from a crowd of about 2,000 fitness and beauty entrepreneurs.
Obama has been a longtime proponent of fitness. While in the White House, she launched the 'Let's Move!' initiative to address childhood obesity.
She spoke Wednesday about the importance of that initiative and why it meant so much to her.
Obama also shared details about her soon-to-be-released book "Upcoming," which details some of her favorite moments during her time in the White House.
She detailed her daughters' sleepover on her last night in the White House. Obama allowed the girls to order whatever they wanted for the kitchen and recalled getting the bill for it later.
