A crash along Interstate 8 is delaying traffic traveling westbound through La Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A dark-colored SUV slammed into the center divide just after 5:30 a.m. near Fletcher Parkway.
One witness reported the vehicle was half over the center divide into the eastbound side of I-8.
